How it all started
It all started from two curious, adventurous people (Javi and Valentina) living in Amsterdam, with a shared love for discovery, spontaneity, and all the little adventures that make life more exciting.
When we first arrived in the Netherlands, every weekend we’d hop on trains, wander through new cities, and let our curiosity guide us. No real plans! Just good vibes, open eyes, and a hunger for something new.
Every time, we discovered something unexpected. Something beautiful. Something we felt everyone should experience at least once.
Why We Started This
We started this community because we realized that sharing these special moments with others can significantly help build lasting friendships with those who share similar interests and passions.
We’ve lived in a bunch of different cities, so we know how hard it can be to meet people who really get you. Sometimes it happens at work or uni… but if not, it can feel isolating. Apps try to fill that gap, but let’s be honest — nothing beats meeting someone naturally, while doing something you both love.
That’s why we started Meet&Vamos: to bring people together through real connections and memorable moments.
